-Shippensburg Battle of the Bands Info:
Similar to past years, there will be 5 rounds, in which up to 5 bands play a night to compete for the winning position. Then, all five winners from the five nights will come back for the final round, competing for the overall winning spot. Then, the final winner comes back once more to play a final concert with a bigger band. Last year, we had the Bouncing Souls. We haven't looked for a band yet, but I'll keep you posted.
Shows start at 8pm and go on until all bands are done playing, normally between midnight and 1am. Each band plays for 45 minutes and there is 15 minutes for the new band to set up their stuff. All shows are on Friday nights, and the dates for the five rounds are below. It is on a first some first serve basis. Please do not schedule any other shows for the final round and concert dates if you are interested in competing so you can come back in case you win.
January 23--Round 1
February 6--Round 2
February 20--Round 3
March 19--Round 4
April 2--Round 5
April 16--Final Round with all winning

April 23--Final Concert
All bands who win in the preliminary rounds will receive $100, and whichever bands wins the final round also receives $500. The concerts are open to the public and admission is normally $1. We will be getting t-shirts again, once all bands are known.

Bad News on the PA PUNK
Homefront:
Tom Trimble (singer-A Trunk Full Of Dead
Bodies/dude with the best laugh of alltime) got in a very bad car
accident
on Friday night (October 18). he is in the Intensive Care
Unit
at Saint Marys Hospital in Newtown right now. it was a very bad
accident.
The Nightmare Scenerio set up an email account for him so people
can send him their prayers, thoughts, well-wishes etc.
